While installing, the armed camera took a picture of the sky with clouds and 2 hawks up high very clearly. The night shots were good also. I love the mount that screws to a tree. You can take the camera out of this mount just by lifting it out. This is real good for getting the SD card out and in. The cam will go back into this mount exactly as it was and take pictures at the same angle.
